About this opportunity

As an Automation Tester, you will work in crafting next generation of ISD (BDGS SD ISD) and would get an opportunity to work from EGI across location!

 

This position is for automation testing of telecom OSS/BSS products and solutions, wherein development of scripts, framework enhancements, CI/CD integration are the key areas of focus to ensure quality, lead time reduction and effort savings from the results.

You will be providing the best solutions to the testing activities by developing automation suites and utilities.

An excellent opportunity to learn new technologies while getting involved with complete test life cycle starting from pre-sales estimations, POCs, and deliveries of automation suites/utilities.

Exposure to innovative technologies in telecom domain which requires continuous improvement in framework design and development resulting in effort savings, and seamless integration with CI/CD pipeline.

What you will do

• Develop reusable automation scripts, reuse and customize existing automation assets.
• Focus on API, UI and DB automation to ensure the highest possible test coverage in customer projects.
• Engage with Automation Center of Excellence in developing utilities, innovate through AI/ML solutions, POCs for customer projects.
• Ownership of automation scope defined for a project to increase automation coverage in progression, regression and sanity test suites.

You will bring

• Python script development for test automation. (must have)
• ROBOT Framework with (https://robotframework.org/)
• Framework development & scripting expertise for GUI + API automation expertise (must have)
• Any additional tool experience like Selenium–Java, CI/CD integration, SOAP UI tool with Groovy scripting (good to have)
• Telecom Domain/Project exposure (Functional knowledge on E2E or one of Order Management/CRM, Billing, Provisioning, Inventory) (good to have)
• Overall Expereince: 5-10 years
