Purpose of the Role:

 

The position will lead the manufacturing operations of the Unit by targeting improvements in productivity, quality, safety, cost, sustainability (ESG) and other manufacturing processes. Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Drive Key Performance Indicators across responsible functions to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards.

 

Job Tasks

  • To lead and drive entire operations of the unit by ensuring its profitability, growth of manufacturing capabilities and meeting organization requirements in terms of cost, quality and responsiveness.

  • Regular monitoring and supervision of performance for all production plants and achieve the assigned targets

  • Ensuring the factory meets all the set KPIs for the year

  • Framing supply chain strategies as per requirement of sales & marketing team

  • Preparing budget, monitoring the expenses and avoiding loss of production for the unit

  • Responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and maintain relationship with statutory and external agencies

  • Develop a safe and harmonious environment for working by effective management of the unit.

  • Creating a high performance work culture.

Key Attributes:

Should have prior experience of being responsible for multiple plants / group of plants. Should have led successful projects and value addition to business. Should be able to lead & motivate a team of experienced people. Should have very good interpersonal & communication skills
