Assistant/Deputy Manager – Engine Design & Development (Flex System)

Role:

Design & development of engine auxiliary parts for flex system

Responsibility:

• Design of parts for fuel system (knowhow of alternate fuels CNG, ethanol, methanol etc is added preference)

1. Fuel system (Pump, underbody fuel pipe and hose, fuel filter etc)
2. Engine Management system (Injector, Rail, MAP, MAF Sensors, Throttle Body etc)

• Should be able to perform calculation, analysis, designer level simulation & test result analysis
• Development of engine parts as per MSIL development process
• Analysis and resolution of quality issues.
• Cost reduction, value analysis & value engineering
• Working in dynamic team for coordination with Engine testing, vehicle testing, production, supply chain, quality etc 

Competency Requirement:

Technical/Functional:

• Understanding of fuel system and related regulations. Material application for different parts and systems.
• Good level of understanding of fuel pump, fuel filtration, EMS, purge system with understanding of Indian market condition.
• Experience of working on actual fuel system engine aux parts design development and related testing.
• Basic knowhow of Engine aux parts, sub systems & systems.
• Hands on CAD skills on UG (or Equivalent Software).
• Basic knowledge of product life cycle management
• Knowledge of production processes for Engine Aux parts
• Knowledge of calculation, design level simulation & analysis
• Problem solving and data interpretation skills are required.

Educatinal Qualification:

BE, B.Tech
