Assistant/Deputy Manager – Tyre & Wheel Design & Development

Role:

• Design, Development & Evaluation of Tyre and Wheels (Aluminum/Steel), Wheel Covers & Cap, Wheel Center

Responsibility:

• Designing of Tyre, Wheel (Aluminum / Steel) & knowledge of layout check, load calculations. Functionality of TPMS system.  
• Should have basic knowledge of Homologation requirements for Tyre, Wheel and allied parts etc.
• Need to have experience on design of construction matrix to achieve Vehicle performance, RRC improvement techniques and Tyre tuning.
• Should be conversant with Homologation requirements for Suspension systems (India & EU) – like Tyres, TPMS systems etc 

Competency Requirement:

Technical/Functional:

• Will be part of team responsible for designing & development of Tyre and Wheels, Wheel Covers, Center cap.
• Would work on basic part related specification requirements, design calculation, Layout of parts, tuning, New Regulations & local development & quality improvements of these parts.
• Should have adequate knowledge of CAD system.
• Basic understanding about Suspension system, design aspects & function
• Ability to work hands on with Suspension system parts.
• Should have a passion for automobiles and should be aware of latest automotive trends in field of Suspension system & wheel design technology

Educational Requirements:

BE/B Tech. Automobile / Mechanical Engg from a reputed Engg College
