Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible to support the Marketing and Commercial team with analytics and reporting initiatives, with a focus on project management, vendor management and internal process operation management.

Broad Level Responsibilities will include:

• Generate market intelligence using desktop research, primary market research and secondary data analysis for key products

• Provide insightful advice in terms of Marketing Mix Analysis and brand strategies on how to beat the competition

• Apply analytics and business acumen to diagnose external sales performance issues, data issues, and generate insights along with recommendations to demonstrably influence business decisions and outcomes

• Work with stakeholders and tech to gather and validate reporting and analytics requirements

• Work with Tech to design, develop, and deploy dashboards and analytics reports for business units and senior leaders

• Leverage modern data visualization and analytics technologies to create dynamic business dashboards to effectively communicate and bring key insights to life for stakeholders

• Query data from database systems to provide ad-hoc project and analyses, insights, and recommendations for various stakeholders

• Promote the use of high-quality data and support a culture of fact-based decision-making in Marketing and Commercial teams by building capabilities and provide guidance and training to the community in visualization, analytics tool usage and data understanding.

• Stay abreast of Business Intelligence products and tools as well as business strategies and direction.

• Identify and bring forward new reporting and analytics technologies and opportunities that will positively impact on decision making

• Advises senior leaders and key stakeholders on how data and analytics play a critical role in business management and optimization

Key Responsibilities:

• Business reporting and insight generation

• Implement and embed Global/Regional Business Intelligence platform in LOC’s daily operation

• Enable external focus performance dialogue by maximizing the use of external benchmarks in regular performance evaluation process (e.g. IQVIA, AWACS, etc)

• Partnership with Commercial & Marketing Heads and cross functional teams (e.g. Tech, Legal etc) to ensure comprehensive use of data in commercial decision making

• Manage scope of work in accordance to GSK ethics & compliance and legal remit

• Manage and mentor on Primary Market Research projects and it’s operations System/ Data Administration:

• Governing overall system/data admin framework across different commercial system/platform – example: IQVIA, AWACS, Internal Platforms

• Supervise the service level of various agencies in regular support of system/data admin/ Ad-hoc projects based on agreed SLAs

• Continuously drive improvement in data management processes General:

• Active member of the LOC commercial organization, collaborating across functions to drive performance and ensure alignment with LOC expectation

• Stakeholder management, extensive liaising with commercial leads in LOC

• Rapid response to events and market needs: facilitating fast feedback cross-functionally and driving rapid adoption of best practice within LOC

• Ensure GSK’s ethical standards are consistently met in the area of responsibility

• Be a strong business partner to senior leaders in addressing key business challenges and providing bespoke support as required to interrogate and resolve key business questions Job-Related Experience:

• Prior working experience in FMCG Or Pharmaceutical Industry

• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI/ Tableau skills

• Experience in system administration of IQVIA etc.

• In-Depth knowledge of Python/R is a necessity • Strong knowledge of Statistical Model and Primary Market Research tools-techniques

• Excellent interpersonal and business communication (oral and written) skills with a proven ability to build trusting relationships

• Enterprise thinker with natural curiosity and the ability to explore new ideas and interrogate data

• Continuously looking for opportunities to learn, build skills and share learning both internally and externally

Qualification:

• MBA Or Masters in Statistics

• At least 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, including in Analytics development and maintenance

• Direct experience in performing analytics and data visualizations on project management data and communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders

• In-depth knowledge of either of the platforms – Power BI, Tableau, R, Python.

• High levels of intellectual curiosity and the mental agility to quickly understand new business problems and concepts.

• Ability to lead the development of new solutions to meet requirements and when appropriate, suggest new approaches to problem solving and make data-driven business recommendations
