Job Purpose

To create, deliver and maintain Architecture, Solutions & Design for various programs/Initiatives.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Define various areas of modernization and accordingly Identify & finalize modernization candidates in the IT landscape considering the organization architecture roadmap
  • Evaluate various technologies and solutions available within and outside the eco system to arrive at an optimal solution/architecture for modernization and/or business problem.
  • For identified candidates/initiatives/applications design and finalize Solution Architecture through effective interaction with business stakeholders, demand management, IT teams & multiple vendors
  • Evaluate various solution design approaches to arrive at optimal solution design/architecture
  • Review and approve the solution architecture & design in accordance with design principles, efforts and schedule;
  • Manage multiple technology partners for timely and qualitative end to end solution design
  • Manage stake holder satisfaction during interfacing with internal as well as external teams

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Knowledge of various Architect & design patterns, hands on experience of implementation of at least one of them.
  • Knowledge about various modernization trends viz. microservices, Opensource adaptation, Cloudification, RPA, middleware technologies, etc
  • Ability to identify and evaluate technical, commercial and operational aspects of any technology or solution.
  • Ability to explore newer technologies/trends, evaluate them based on criterias and accordingy recommend them with business case
  • Good understanding of IT Application’s Ecosystem for a telecom service provider specially for CRM, self-service applications and billing system
  • Good understanding of Telecom business process
  • Be an effective communicator ( oral and written), highly organized, good multi-tasker and possess leadership skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • Engineering/Technology graduate from reputed institution. MBA/PG an added advantage.
  • TOGAF certification or similar
  • Telecom Doman Expertise ( GSM, FixedLine, M2M, IOT,2/3G, 4G/5G)
  • Skills on Software Development Methodologies ( SDLC)
  • Certification on various OSS/BSS technologies and tools
