GCC Transformation Role

  • Opportunity to work directly with the Transformation CoE leads and global stakeholders
  • Lead execution of the assigned programs & projects & responsible for all project phases
  • Manage the day-to-day activities, including scope, financials (e.g. business case, budget), resourcing (e.g. Full-time employees, roles and responsibilities, utilization), timelines and toll gates and risks
  • Flex across a variety of different transformation initiatives across all our global functions (Finance, HR, Tech, Communications, Compliance, Procurement and Legal)
  • Identify and help drive improvement/efficiency opportunities across processes, working closely with the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Technology Product Owners (TPOs) and their teams
  • Lead engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures in accordance with agreed methodology across the continuous improvement initiatives within the GCC.
  • May involve focus on one project or working across a portfolio of projects – typical types of projects would include operating model transformation / cost reduction, automation, outsourcing/offshoring and service transitions, regulatory changes etc. supporting both global and local geographies
  • Engage with the wider GSK project management and continuous improvement and external process excellence communities to drive best practices and learnings.
  • Perform process studies and basic data analysis and gather insight into improvements on Customer Satisfaction, Employee experience, Efficiency improvements etc in prioritized and identified areas
  • Research and document best practices and benchmarks from external and internal communities in identified areas within GCC Operations
  • Play a key role in providing inputs to certain critical day to day activities like Business Case preparation, creation of project plans etc.

GCC Technology Product Management Role

Strategy

  • Create a product vision, strategy and roadmap, evidenced and defensible to stakeholders and yourself
  • Determine and understand your customer’s needs better than anyone, through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Doing deep research on unmet needs and opportunities and have a good sense of what features would benefit GSK most. (internal and external)
  • Drives customer centricity through persona creation and journey mapping
  • Be the recognized expert in every facet of your product.

Operational Management

  • Work with colleagues from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to set a clear and cohesive strategy for your product area, whilst still maintaining space to incorporate new ideas along the journey
  • Rigorously apply the scientific method and lean start-up thinking to set hypotheses, design experiments, test assumptions and break-down complex problems into smaller chunks
  • Interpret the data, work out what the next question to ask is then turn the answers into something stakeholders want to use.
  • Maintain high credibility and deliver real value by shipping product that make our users’ lives easier
  • Owns prioritization decisions of the product / sprint backlog

Communication and Adoption

  • Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, & roadmap
  • Advocates for customers on their needs
  • Sets and manages expectations on product capabilities, performance and delivery timelines
  • Accountable for product performance and results (ex OKR definition and achievement, stakeholder satisfaction, adoption and utilization)

You’ll need

Experience

  • Pre-MBA work experience of 18 month or more is preferable

  • Confident, proactive self-starters, comfortable in managing and engaging others
  • Effective in engaging, partnering with and influencing stakeholders across the matrix up to VP level
