This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following.

  • The role will be responsible for all project phases and leading the execution of assigned projects.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, including scope, financials (e.g. business case, budget), resourcing (e.g. full-time employees, roles and responsibilities, utilization), timelines and tollgates, and risk management
  • Identify improvement and efficiency opportunities across the projects led by the project manager.
  • Implement project reviews and quality assurance to ensure successful execution of goals and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Consistently report and review progress to the lead project manager, steering group and relevant stakeholders.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the GSK portfolio, principles and company direction and embed these in the projects.
  • Engage with the wider GSK project management community and update the community on learnings.

  • Proven ability to run high-profile projects, with a minimum of 5-7 years’ & upto 10 yrs experience in project management
  • Project management experience in Pharma is a plus, but not mandatory (minimum requirement is a good understanding of the industry).
  • Demonstrate mastery of project management processes and principles
  • Excellent interpersonal (communication and presentation) and organizational skills
  • Understanding of Agile / Lean / 6-sigma principles
  • Problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitude
  • Superb persuading and influencing skills
  • Project management certification (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Familiarity with Service Management lifecycle (e.g. ITIL)
  • Project Management tools and applications such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence
