JOb Responsibilities:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert in Basis area and assist with architecture suggestions
• Manage complex, high availability and very large SAP, Oracle & HANA environment
• Be accountable for the support and proactive monitoring of the core SAP applications including installation, performance, break fixes and change requests per business requirements
• Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies
• Analyze requirements from the business and take appropriate steps to define action plans which are detailed, meaningful and set expectations appropriately with the business
• Analyze service performance based on data provided and interpret the data to determine the quality of the service – validate this against the user perception of the service
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve team procedures, benchmarks, and controls
• Research best practices to support continuous improvement
• Be aware and updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in the SAP space
• Provide recurring management reports, metrics, performance baselines, etc.
• Work closely with other leaders to improve ability to deliver new capabilities and maximize the value received from existing investments
• Technical Support and Operational experience in SAP Basis, NetWeaver Administration
• Accountable for team's performance on goals, employee attributes, and project delivery

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent technical understanding of SAP products with a minimum of 10 years of experience in BASIS support.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP technical architecture with hands-on experience
• Good understanding of structured project management techniques.
• Solid understanding of SAP Basis leading practices, methodologies, processes, and control framework
• Hands-on SAP Basis troubleshooting experience in multiple SAP components such as ECC, BW, XI/PI, Solution Manager, GRC, NWDI, HANA, APO, Portal, BOBJ etc.
• Demonstrated architecture and design expertise with enterprise server and storage networking projects in support of SAP in large-scale environments
• Strong experience in SAP installations, migrations & Upgrades, Database support
• Strong experience in connecting interfaces and writing and handling OS level scripts
• Expert knowledge in SAP NetWeaver system administration and system performance tuning
