Job Description

To create relevant content
on economic issues, industry and business related subjects, ITC’s industrial
context and businesses, including for ITC leadership, sustainability, and other
communication activities of the department.

1. PRI          Principal Accountabilities –

1.       Support to Leadership Communication

§  Support to leadership content strategy

§  Development of relevant content on economic issues,
industry and business related, sustainability, etc for leadership and the
department

§  Create content for leadership communication
platforms, including social media

§  Coordinate with external content agency

§  Creation and maintenance of leadership content
calendar

2.       Support to Content Strategy

§  Support to setting messaging direction

§  Identify / ideate relevant themes for
narratives

3.       Creation of long form and short form content for
amplification of messages and narratives

§  Speeches, articles, case studies, thematic notes

4.       Research and development

§  Carry out in-depth research on relevant
subjects like economic affairs including areas like food processing and exports,
agriculture sustainability.

§  Spot key trends in relevant areas including
communication and recommending response.

5. Creation of presentations to amplify the
Company’s messages

§  Prepare presentations for key stakeholders

§  Prepare presentations for leadership
engagements

6. Working closely with the entire CCD Team

§  Work closely with the media, digital and internal
communication teams to understand and address content needs

§  Review / create briefing notes, press responses,
quotes

Requirements

                    Educational
Qualifications

a)    Qualifications

§  Post Graduate in Economics from a reputed
University

§  Relevant work experience of 7-10 years in content
creation role, including leadership communication or in policy advocacy, in industry
chambers/ research institutes/ journalism

§   

§  Knowledge of economic, social and
environmental issues in the industry context

§  Excellent writing skills.

§  Ability to handle multiple assignments
simultaneously and deliver under pressure

§  Ability to handle multiple assignments

§  Ability to carry out secondary research and
analyse for appropriate use

§  Well versed with MS Office including Word,
PowerPoint and Excel
