Job Purpose
This role will execute local market access strategies to ensure GSK products reach to as many patients as possible in an increasingly challenging market environment. As Market Access manager the purpose of the role is to generate and establish trustful and long-term relationships with public sector/Govt institutions that allows the inclusion of GSK products in their formulary.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible to manage a team of Market Access Managers across India for pan GSK

Represent OneGSK across Govt/Public Healthcare accounts
-
Drive formulary inclusion for innovative portfolio from GSK
-
Liaise with payers and other relevant stakeholders to enable market entry and access

Anticipate potential changes in the health care system and: i. proactively develop strategic proposals to increase patients access to our products; or ii. mitigate a potential negative impact of these changes in our portfolio.

Develop an action plan with different key players in the market in order to increase awareness of our products and its benefits for increasing patient access.

Develop pricing strategy to ensure access of GSK brands in Govt institutions.

In partnership with Marketing, develop a plan to increase market access for new launches.

Generate a trustful and long-term relationship with Public Sector/Govt institutions in order to support the incorporation of GSK products.

Ensure end to end execution of tenders including collection of payments for direct supply accounts

Responsible for periodic regional updates

Responsible for development & coaching of direct reportees

Ensure compliance policies are correctly executed in the area
Qualifications:
Graduate degree (Healthcare related qualification, or life sciences degree). MBA will be an added advantage
Experience:

At least 3 years of tender business/Govt/Public healthcare sector experience within the country is preferred

Stakeholder management : existing network of key stakeholders for payer market

Health economics understanding

Budget proposal for project

Negotiations skills

Demonstrate high standards of compliance
