Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support charging consolidation, operate & manage PAN India Charging Platforms, Circle governance of Charging services & end to end service availability of VIL Charging Nodes , Focus on Customer experience and reduction in revenue leakage

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  1. Responsible for end to end operations of Charging Platforms and Governance of circle operations.
  2. Extend expertise/support to circle operations teams in achieving operational excellence & improve performance.
  3. Responsible for flawless execution of new software release roll out across locations
  4. Responsible for emergency handling and co-ordination among multi- vendor in event of any major service disturbance PAN India
  5. Responsible for SLA tracking of OEM and ensuring critical/major tickets closed as per target

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  1. Sound knowledge of Prepaid Voice/SMS/USSD/Data charging call flow.
  2. Should be able to do analysis on traces/tcpdump.
  3. Should have prior experience of working in Operations domain and aware about operational processes. Able to review and suggest corrections. Should have to lead Statuary audits of charging platforms.
  4. Should have strong experience in People management (MS partners OEM Partners, cross functional teams, Circle teams etc.)
  5. Understanding in Cloud technology is plus

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  1. Engineering Graduate with 10 to 12yrs of overall Telecom experience having knowledge of ITIL processes, basic understanding of platform architecture, Protocols and Linux/UNIX OS.
  2. Any Hardware, networking or Cloud certification is plus
