Job Purpose

  • Responsible for Pan India IRU Operation function, ensure to deliver Operational KPIs as per organization requirement.
  • To develop, implement and govern long term operating models for smooth functioning of IRU operations.
  • Governance of IRU performance and interface between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meet mobility & enterprise services experience expectation by implementing highest quality of workmanship and cost effective operating model.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Responsible for Opex forcast and control.
  • Responsible for delivering and accepting IRU operational KPI.
  • Developing, on boarding and operationalization of IRU partners.
  • Exchange improvement/stabilization plan along with actionable and timelines.
  • Responsible to build long term operating model and relationship.
  • Escalation management to IRU partner for critical cases.
  • Interface between internal and external stakeholder.
  • Ensure corrective actions are taken by respective stakeholders to comply with standards, polices & process.
  • Database management – Updation of IRU Asset database.
  • Validation and reconciliation of operational performance KPI with IRU partner.
  • Establish Strong governance mechanism with MS Partners to delivery operational KPI.

  • Understanding of Network requirements for Mobility and Enterprise
  • Technical and analytics capability for Planning & designing of Fiber Network
  • Understanding of Fiber and Transport Network
  • Understanding of Commercial and Financial impacts of Fiber Operations
  • Expertize in fiber operations & maintenance

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • 12-15 years of Telecom experience and Proficiency in understanding overall fiber operations & maintenance
  • Graduation –  B. Tech/B.E
  • Fiber project & operational standards/process.
  • Documentation Management – HOTO, PO, GRN
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills and positive attitude
  • Proficiency in MS excel, PowerPoint, Work
  • Ability to resolve issues with support of relevant stakeholders 
  • Must have a clear vision on organizational requirements, able to see the big picture, decision making ability and superior communication skill.
