Job Purpose
|
- Effective & Time bound delivery of Core Projects – Cloud IMS/VoLTE, NDS, HLR/HSS, Packet/Data Core nodes ( PCRF, DNS, vGWs, MME, … etc), STP, DRA, HSS domain Implementation Projects and Wi-Fi Implementation.
- Central lead for all PAN India CS/Packet Core / IMS-VoLTE / Wi-Fi Project Planning , execution & governance with Vendors, Circle teams, SNOC team & other VIL stakeholders for seamless project delivery

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
|
- Effective delivery of new projects across Circuit – Cloud /IMS, & Packet core domain , STP, HSS domain, handle new nodes / Technology rollout & expansion projects, MTX resilience projects & DR implementation for Circuit Core nodes in a very stringent time line considering data usage surge across PAN India.
- Managing overall Project delivery starting from Planning Handover, Solution discussion, Hardware delivery, Hardware I&C, Cloud/NFV readiness, VNF deployment, Integration with VIL Ecosystem, SNOC Integration for FCAPS, Functional & revenue assurance UAT, Security Audit as per VIL Policy, Migration of data traffic & Handover to Operations team.
- Responsible for Expansion of vMGW /SBC to deliver capacity, Integration with IMS for VOLTE.
- Responsible for Green field Circuit core deployments of MSC/MSS, HLR/HSS, NDS, STP, MGW, Expansion of vEPC ,SBC, Cloud Infra/NFV to deliver capacity for voice core traffic
- Responsible for end to end Network Consolidation for MSC/MSS, HLR/HSS, NDS, STP, MGW, SBC, Data Nodes in which Vodafone /Idea nodes will be reconfigured /reintegrated into a lean/optimized network.
- Responsible for Green field Paco deployments of SGSN/MME, GGSN/SPGW, PCRF, CGF, CGNAT, IP Infra/SDWAN solution, Cloud Infra/NFV to deliver capacity for data traffic
- Responsible for Expansion of vEPC infra to deliver capacity, Integration with IMS for VOLTE.
- Responsible for end to end Network Consolidation in which Vodafone /Idea nodes will be reconfigured /reintegrated into a lean/optimized network.
- Deployment of special project like Syslog, Service improvisation Project
- Deployment of Technology Transformation Projects.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
|
- Hands on experience of Project management over 10 to 15 years along with Knowledge of MS Project and stake Holder Management to get the Delivery of Project first time right
- Detail knowledge of functionality of CS core nodes e.g. MSC/MSS, HLR/HSS, NDS, STP, MGW, SBC, Cloud/NFV Infra & IP solution. And PS core nodes e.g. SGSN/MME, GGSN/SPGW, PCRF, DRA, Cloud/NFV Infra & IP infra solution.
- Detailed knowledge of PS Nodes …GPRS/LTE call flow, GPRS/LTE protocol stack & Diameter interfaces. Knowledge on Cloud NFV platform & virtualized infra.
- Hands on experience on multiple vendor e.g. Nokia, Ericsson, ZTE, and Huawei….. MSC/MSS, HLR/HSS, NDS, STP, MGW, SBC, Cloud/NFV Infra & IP infra solution, Ericsson GGSN, SGSN, SAPC (PCRF), DNS, & Oracle PCRF, DRA, Linux based systems. Knowledge on IP/MPLS & routing protocols.
- Knowledge on Cloud NFV platform & virtualized infra., Knowledge on Cloud based solution implementation.

Must have technical / professional qualifications
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineer Preferably in Electronics / Telecom or Equivalent.
- Certification PM would added Advantage.
