Job Purpose

The Service Projects resource will be responsible for the successful launch of new products and operational readiness of the product. The incumbent will collaborate with different teams to understand product launch and post launch requirements for new and updated products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive operational readiness and preparedness to ensure that new products are well supported to meet business requirements
  • Ensure all After Market support requirements are in place to handle the product in field
  • Understand the overall need of business and suggest commercial & technical solutions in Projects
  • Synchronize and balance After Sales requirements in a project
  • Firm up After Market projects’ process and map the same to the deliverables
  • Identify the process gaps and suggest improvements for achieving delivery efficiency
  • Lead in planning, monitoring and delivering After Sales requirements in-line with the project plan
  • Ensuring cross learning and deployment of learnings
  • Ensuring After Market deliverables are in line with the main project timelines
  • Support the team on critical issues in workgroup, Cross Functional Team (CFT) and project review meetings
  • Drive implementation of benchmarking serviceability from competitors
  • Identify risks related to project deadlines and present solutions to the project organization
  • Report project status to the Functional Manager and Commercial Organization
  • Coordinate all After Sales deliverables with relevant agencies
  • Participate in development activities and support PD on validation on future trends
  • Ensure readiness in all respects as per project plan
  • Guide team members, delegate tasks and identify talent to support different projects
  • Drive employee engagement by leading people development via succession planning, training development, regular feedback/ follow-up and reward programs

Work Experience

Education

Bachelors in Engineering (Automobile)

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Experience

7+ years of experience in service projects related to After Market
