About the Team: 
The Compliance department has five areas of responsibility—identification, prevention, monitoring and detection, resolution, and advisory for the entity with respect to regulations /laws and is part of the enterprise compliance group at Paytm.
About the role:
This role will focus on advising business and overseeing compliance-related matters in the company. The role entails advising in terms of the relevant regulatory expectations to the respective business units and ensuring timely monitoring and detection of compliance-related issues.
Expectations/ Requirements
1. Managing & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and ensure in meeting of individual and team targets as per TAT and SLA.
2. Providing feedback to team members on QC report and circulates the outcome immediately to the management.
3. Preparing MIS reports & other statements with a view to describe management of the process operations and assist in critical decision-making process.
4. Attending error calls on weekly basis with onshore.
5. Attending weekly knowledge transfer (KT) calls with onshore and communicating the same to the team members.
6. Scheduling weekly knowledge sharing sessions with the team and providing possible solutions to overcome the challenges in process BAU.
7. Performing UAT testing for new products, processes and clients being on-boarded
8. Taking a lead role in providing strategic vendor relationship management with the top external business partners
9. Working with the Process Excellence, IT and HR teams creating a seamless, planned, process driven between development, staging, production and support of applications and infrastructure
10. Liaising between customer and business, and advocating of greater customer satisfaction
11. Ensuring regular reporting on progress and impact to leadership/top-management
12. Implementing action plans to improve key performance indicators to maximize business opportunities
13. Handling customer escalations and all customer relations issues.
14. Performing Root-cause analysis; Coaching and developing team members of different functionalities.
15. Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for senior managers.
 Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :
1. 8+years’ experience in the Compliance team of any Trading Member / Exchange / Bank.
2. Effective interpersonal skills to communicate and coordinate complex issues and projects with diverse levels of management of employees (Stakeholder management).
 3. Conversant with SEBI regulations and Exchange compliances apart from general knowledge of business processes for Loan disbursements/ repayments/collections.
4. Knowledge of RBI rules and regulations for payment products such as UPI/ BNPL would be an added advantage.
5. Ability and willingness to single-handedly conduct all compliance-related functions.
Education:  
Must have completed CA / LLB/ MBA, an LLB/ LLM is highly preferred.
