Job Description
Purpose:
Preparation of financial statements for reporting to stock exchanges
Responsibilities:
- Scrutiny of trial balances
- Planning of quarterly closing process and ensuring timely deliverables to auditor
- Preparation of quarterly financial reporting of standalone accounts for limited review
- Preparation of annual standalone financials, notes to accounts and handling annual audit
- Correspondence and coordination with subsidiary accountants
- Conversion of foreign subsidiaries accounts in local currency as per Ind AS
- Preparation of financial statements (annual and quarterly) of various overseas subsidiaries
- Intercompany reconciliation between Alkem India and its subsidiaries
- Preparation of quarterly financial reporting of consolidated accounts for limited review
- Preparation of annual consolidated financials, notes to accounts and handling annual audit
- Preparation of analytical review for standalone as well consolidated financials
- Preparation of various financial ratios, working capital analysis as well as cash flow analysis
- Provide information on quarterly basis to secretarial department for board meeting/audit committee meeting – for e.g. related party transactions etc.
- Provide support to secretarial and investor relationship team for preparation of annual report
- Ensuring adherence to Internal Financial Control
- Co-ordinate with local finance team and local consultants on various matters. Co-ordinate with local consultants for their annual audit
- Liaise with local consultants to ensure financial reporting related compliances at non-operating overseas subsidiaries (e.g. Filing of annual return, Tax returns, other compliances within due dates). Liaise with local finance teams and track compliances at operating overseas subsidiaries
- Cross charging of interest/corporate guarantee commission/standby letter of credit charges to overseas subsidiaries in compliance with transfer pricing regulations
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting. Person from pharma industry would be an added advantage
