Job Purpose
  1. Responsible for Cluster field transport network operations
  2. Deployment responsibility for cluster IP & Optics network
  3. Responsible for field Enterprise feasibility, delivery and assurance
  4. Field Repair and replacement & spare management
  5. MTTR & Uptime responsibility for transport network & enterprise services
  6. Transport site audit , preventive maintenance and corrections
  7. Governance of MS partners, vendors

 

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
  1. To maintain and exceed transport Network availability
  2. Maintain enterprise customer SLA
  3. Improve customer experience in transport layer ( latency , packet loss etc)
  4.  Consolidation of IP/MPLS, DWDM & fiber network and operating model 
  5.  IP & Optics NMS Consolidation
  6.  Transport service engineering for site rollout and consolidation
  7. Timely execution of all special initiatives
  8. Support, engage & drive Corp technology strategy initiatives
  9.  SNOC / Centralization initiatives as per plan
  10. P&L consciousness

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  1. Network Operation relevant experience in telecom domain
  2. Knowledge of end to end network functionality.
  3. Lead change in the network & adapt with new ways of working
  4. Strong understanding of business expectations in liaison with circle teams.
  5. Sharp Analytical & Vendor Management skills
  6. Self-motivated & passionate to work.

Must have technical / professional qualifications
  1. BE /BETech, CCNA/CCNP
  2. Minimum 15 yrs of exp in Transport operations.
