Job Purpose
  • Performance monitoring of entire NLD/ILD network and maintaining network KPIs within benchmark.
  • Resolving performance related complaints of Carriers and POI partners.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
  • Managing performance KPIs of VIL Voice VAS products (NTFS/UAN, ITFS, HCD, Short code, IGCS and Audio Conferencing).
  • Proactive KPI monitoring for all NLD/ILD network nodes and Interconnects to resolve issues within defined TAT.
  • Minimizing revenue leakage for NLD/ILD voice traffic from captive Access network towards 3rd party operators.
  • Voice/ network quality check after planned activity on network elements as per operational requirement.
  • Close monitoring of NLD/ILD IP-VLANs, mainly utilization, jitter, packet loss, latency etc. and take action on affected VLANs to avoid voice quality complaints.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  • 3 to 7 years’ experience in telecom network operational planning & configuration in switching network, preferably in Huawei and Nokia NGN.
  • Hands-on experience on Oracle & Genband SBCs, including configuration and trouble shooting.
  • Sound technical knowledge in TDM and SIP signaling protocols.

Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • Knowledge in telecom core network domain with experience in managing performance management, basic routing and key KPIs monitoring.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to manage International Carriers, 3rd party POI partners and cross functional teams.
