Job Purpose
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of IP network.
  • Responsible to offer technical assistance to the IP Network devices such as Routers and Switches.
  • Responsible for handling technical issues, fault finding and maintenance operations.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes
  • Ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness,

approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• Cisco qualifications, minimum CCNP studying towards CCIE/CCSP.

• Must have routing and switching experience

• Must have knowledge of setting up VLAN and IP addressing.

• Knowledge on BGP, IS-IS, OSPF protocols.

• Experience with IP/MPLS and L2/L3 services

• Hands on knowledge of Nokia, Juniper, Huawei and Cisco products

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • Essential : Graduation – BE (Electronics and communication)
  • Work ex: 5 – 7 years
  • Experience in IP network Operations & Planning
