Job Purpose
|
To deliver across IT Business Support Systems / applications and manage its associated projects, demands and change requests end to end primarily for business functions i.e. Finance, SCM, HR and Shared Services.
One of the key responsibilities shall be to drive and manage the technical aspects of the end to end IT delivery primarily in / of SAP ERP S4 Hana and related peripheral IT applications ecosystem.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
|
- Understand, own and drive the end to end technical solutions & timely deliver IT projects and Initiatives through effective interaction with business stakeholders, demand management team, different IT teams & multiple IT Partners
- Review the overall solution & design in accordance with IT principles, efforts and schedule
- Evaluate various solutions available within and outside the IT ecosystem to arrive at an optimal solution and delivery of the same. Manage multiple technology partners for timely and qualitative end to end Delivery
- Manage overall closure of IT Security processes, fixes and deliver full compliance with VIL’ IT Security and Data Privacy related policies, changes and successful implementation in / for given projects and assignments
- Manage stake holder satisfaction during interfacing with internal as well as external teams
- Support the centralized function for delivery of business demands for IT implementation of Business and IT Demands
- Joint working with Demand Management Team, solution design team, IT Operations, Infra and IT Security team towards prioritization, planning and overall delivery
- Engage with Business entities (Pan India) along with Demand Manager for engaging with business to identify the requirements, plan overall IT activities, and identify solutions to resolve challenges, etc.
- Support the established delivery management processes, standards, quality benchmarks and acceptance criteria with key IT vendors like Accenture, IBM, TCS, Amdocs, and others
- Support multiple Projects over and above the current responsibility spanning across various applications and platforms specifically w.r.t. technical integrations, interfaces, IT Security etc.
- Review technical requirement specification, technical roadmap, solution procurement, feasibility documents to ensure successful implementation and integrations

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
|
- Sound knowledge of technical modules of SAP S4 Hana and ERP technical / functional Eco system
- Good understanding of IT Application’s Ecosystem for a telecom service provider
- Sound knowledge and understanding of SAP S4 Hana and its techno-functional aspects in the area of ABAP, BASIS, Hana DB, FIORI, SAP PI / PO, Sybase, Netweaver, Workflows, SAP integration standards and technics, Cloud Solutions and its integrations with on premise application landscape including SAP Cloud Integration modules, Cloud based infrastructure including networking and connectivity related aspects for the IT applications environment
- Sound knowledge and understanding of IT Security standards, protocols and data privacy aspects
- Good understanding of key business processes of Finance, SCM, HR and Shared Services
- Good understanding of Enterprise architecture of SAP ERP Products and applications portfolio
- Experience of working on large scale system transformation of OSS/BSS applications
- Good understanding of Infra, SAAS, IAAS, SAP Enterprise Cloud based services (HEC)
- Be an effective communicator (Oral and Written), highly organized, good multi-tasker
- Good understanding of telecom OSS/BSS applications, integration best practices, agile processes and emerging technologies like Open Source technologies, Cloud hosted solutions, RPA, middleware technologies, etc.

- Engineering/Technology graduate from reputed institution
- Certification on SAP ABAP, BASIS, HANA, FIORI and other SAP technologies
